I chose to become a Dunker Punk because I want to make a difference in what the church is doing. After growing up in the church and seeing some of the good and the harm that the church–any church can do, I want to find ways that the church can be more accepting and welcoming of people who are different from them.
I am hoping to be more vocal in my opinions, (but in the right way and context) and what I want to see is people being more open-minded towards others. No one should ever feel like they are not welcome in any church.
Pray for me for strength, peace and forgiveness.
