Today is day 80! Before getting to the letters, please watch this video produced by David Sollenberger
The EYN needs both prayers and donations. I think there are many, many benefits to prayer, but one that we don’t often think about is the effect that it has on us, the ones doing the praying. What we pray about should show us what we care about. Sometimes, there’s nothing to do but pray, but other times, prayer shows us the other things that we should also do.
The EYN is one of those instances. If you are praying for something to happen in Nigeria, add a donation to your prayer, and help that happen. I donated $20 today, and I’m a destitute college student. If I can do it, you can too. The Church of the Brethren is matching each donation, up to $500,000. So, if we raise $500,000, $1 million will go to help the EYN rebuild and be the Church that Nigeria needs. Visit www.brethren.org/nigeriacrisis to donate
